Training for Increased Effectiveness, Team Development and Career Advancement

As a trainer I design and deliver workshops on personal change, goal setting and time management, self and team development and increased effectiveness. I also provide one to one and group training in the area of interview skills preparation and cv development.

I am currently an Associate Lecturer with University College Cork where I deliver a module on ‘Coaching and Mentoring in Organisations’ part of an IITD/UCC Diploma in Learning and Development Practice. The Diploma in Learning and Development Practice is intended for those involved in learning and development in organisations and those self-employed within the private training provider industry.

I was recently asked to deliver a module on Personal and Professional Development to participants on a Community Sports Coaching Programme in LIT. This programme was designed to give the participants skills and qualifications in the area of Sports Coaching.  My work included the delivery of a range of Personal Development and Self Awareness topics as well preparing the participants for the job interview process and CV support.

Examples of other recent work include the delivery of Train the Trainer to LIDL Sales Operation Managers as part of the IITD Skillnets. I was also trainer on the the Time to Change programme in the Cork area as part of a collaborative LIT Tipperary/SECAD arrangement from 2011 to 2016. This innovative training and coaching programme was designed to respond to the needs of the large numbers of people who had experienced employment and business loss as a result of the economic downturn

I am also Managing Director of Niall Heenan Training Ltd, a company contracted by the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) to deliver Supervisory Management and Staff Development Training to Public Sector clients across Ireland
